Who We Are

Update: Shannon's become incredibly busy with her own blogs and writing gigs. She's handed off the daily care and feeing of BB101 to me (Chilihead/Melanie). Don't worry, she'll be making an appearance here and there, but for the most part, I'll be answering your questions from here on out.

We're Chilihead and Shannon, a couple of bloggers with just enough technical knowledge to be dangerous.  Chilihead has a background in technical writing and extensive experience in HTML coding.  Shannon has absolutely no qualifying experience other than having jumped in with both feet to teach herself blogging.  When we began getting questions on our personal blogs about blogging issues, we realized there are many beginning bloggers out there who would benefit from hearing what we learned the hard way. 

This site is intended for beginning bloggers with basic questions.  If you're looking for more advanced how-tos, there are hundreds of such sites available. 

Occasionally, we will invite other bloggers to answer a question when we know they have special knowledge in an area, or we may link to something they've already written.
